Free. Yes...FREE. But there's a catch!

         FACILITIES/ORGANIZATIONS ONLY*

Once a calendar quarter I am booking dance parties at qualifying senior facilities at no charge   

To qualify: 
1. Your facility must be located within 10 miles of my home in Lincoln

2. You must be a  55+ senior community, or recreation dept

3. For-profit organizations must make a $100 donation to the Senior Center in Lincoln.

Other details:

1. The setup and takedown do not count against the contracted hours.

2. For events with drinks/dinner/ etc., I will complete my setup and
    sound  level checks before the start of your event. 

3. If you need public address support for the speech/award segment
    of the evening I can provide that.

4. If you book a 6+ hour event I will continue playing until midnight or until
    you say "whoa."This applies to drinks/dinner events that commence
    at or after 6PM only. 

Extras

Uplighting
Digitally controlled LED floor lights. select the mood lighting / color scheme that complements the event...or your decorative pallet. When the music starts I will coordinate these lights to "match" the songs. Picture dancing to Etta James "At Last" in a room awash in scarlet or deep purple. 


Mirrored Ball
A slowly revolving 16 inch mirrored ball illuminated by 2 tightly-focused pin spotlights. A mirrored ball adds a touch of fantasy and grooviosity to evening events. Disco music without a mirrored ball is going to a movie without having popcorn.


Special FX 
These are a growing collection of Laser and LED projectors that add excitement, movement, and color to the dancefloor. Most are synchronized to the music tempo, and together they will magically  transport your guests to one of those clubs in the city where everyone's pupils are dialated and the songs all go on forever and sound pretty much alike, and everyone is about 25 years away from havng to worry about wrinkles or baldness.

Um...no.


Public Address System
Shure Wireless microphones run through a Behringer amplifier and broadcast from Peavey 12 inch speakers. You can be smugly confident that the entire audience is hearing every word, clear as a bell, and free of feedback. I can provide a microphone stand or you can move amongst the tables channeling your inner Jerry Springer.


Event Master of Ceremony 
When you need an emcee to keep your event moving along on schedule. Generally these involve introductions, announcements, dinner call, first dance, toasts, cake-cutting, garter extraction, bouquet toss, photo ops,  departure, police raid...Okay, I made that last one up.


Full Monty (Package) 
6+ hour event, no overtime charges, with full uplighting (up to 12 lights) Mirrored ball, Special FX lights, Public Address, emcee services...the works. For venues within 30 mile radius of Alameda, on dry land (sorry, no maritime venues.)
$ 750  
A $300 deposit is required to book the Full Monty. The deposit is fully refundable up to 7 calendar days before the event.
